On June 6 and 7, the SMART ERA consortium gathered in the beautiful setting of Sóller, Mallorca, for a productive and inspiring plenary meeting. With all the partners present, the two-day meeting showcased our collective commitment to fostering smart, sustainable rural development.

Our workshops during the meeting were a highlight, focusing on the digitalisation of rural areas and how technology can address local challenges. These discussions were crucial in shaping our innovation efforts. Another key session was dedicated to addressing the specific needs and gaps of our pilot regions, ensuring that we tailor our approach to meet diverse local demands.

During the meeting, we celebrated the launch of the SMART ERA online community on Fundingbox Spaces, a new platform for collaboration, engagement, and support through Discord. This community will soon be publicly shared and serve as our hub for expanding our project’s reach and amplifying our impact. The session dedicated to the SMART ERA Community launch focused on building engagement and strategies for attracting new members.
