The Digital Alps Conference on 8-9 July 2026 in Brussels is a key event in the EUSALP Macro Regional Strategy for the Alpine area.
Taking place under the patronage of the Bavarian EUSALP Presidency, the conference will be held as a side event to the EU Macro-regional & Sea Basin Strategies Days in Brussels.
This year’s conference will bring together visionary leaders, policy experts, and pioneers to explore how digital technologies can unlock the full potential of rural and mountainous Alpine regions. SMART ERA’s partner Swiss Center for Mountain Region, represented by Vicedirector Peter Niederer, will attend on behalf ot the project.
In 2026, the Alpine regions’ voices will be heard at the heart of Europe as they help to shape the future of digitalisation in the Alps.
