PILOT REGIONS
Pilot regions have dedicated orchestrators and community activators who work together to co-create, implement, and test Smart Innovation Packages (SIPs) that are tailored to address vulnerabilities and unlock potential. We are laying the groundwork for the efficient replication of this approach across new regions, thereby forming a Europe-wide rural innovation strategy. Our sustainability strategy will ensure a lasting impact beyond the project’s duration.

Rural Area Characteristics
Depopulation poses a significant challenge in rural areas across Europe. This is driven by factors such as inadequate public transport options and limited access to essential social services.
